IO Interactive is Working on a Cooperative Mode for Hitman: World of Assassination
IO Interactive has announced that they are developing a new cooperative mode for Hitman: World of Assassination. This mode will allow players to team up with another player to complete new missions in the game’s universe.

There is not much information yet about the new mode, except that it will feature two characters: Knight and Stone, who are already familiar to fans of the series. According to IO Interactive, the goal of this mode is to create missions that challenge players to rethink their usual way of playing Hitman. The presence of a second player will require players to work together as a team, making joint plans and acting cooperatively instead of going it alone.
However, players should not expect this mode to be released anytime soon. IO Interactive has confirmed that the mode is still in the early stages of development, but they promised to share more details soon.
In other news, Hitman: World of Assassination has just launched on Nintendo Switch 2 this week. Additionally, a new temporary mission is now available across all platforms, where players can assassinate Le Chiffre, the main villain from the movie Casino Royale. Le Chiffre is once again played by Mads Mikkelsen.
