Thermaltake Pacific Lumi Plus RGB 3-Pack LED Strip Now Available

Thermaltake is a company that has fully embraced PC customization. This is evident with their worldwide support of case modding and hosting modding events, as well as focusing on providing modding products. Their latest is the Pacific Lumi Plus RGB LED strip pack. This is an upgrade from the regular 256-color Lumi RGB strips, now boasting a greater color range up to 16.8 million options rather than just 256 colors. Moreover, the new Lumi Plus version is individually addressable or digital. Unlike analog LED lights, users can truly customize each light on the layout to create complex patterns and be as creative as can be.

Thermaltake Pacific Lumi Plus RGB 3-Pack LED Strip Now Available

The Thermaltake Lumi Plus is a software-controlled lighting solution for any chassis or modding project. Each box comes with a hardware controller and three LED strips and is ready to use out of the box. Each strip has 12 single RGB LEDs. The strips also come with embedded high-grade neodymium magnets. This allows for easy installation on steel enclosures without the need for adhesive. However, for non-magnetic surfaces, there are is a adhesive backed 3M stickers on the strip already.

The new controller box is slightly larger than the one on the 256-color Lumi RGB. However, it supports up to 10 Pacific Lumi Plus LED strips and each port can connect up to three channels of LED strips. It is powered by a single peripheral (Molex) cable. In fact, users can daisy chain up to three Lumi Plus controllers into a single Molex connector.
